Mrs. Brown was born on November 9, 1944, in Claussen, South Carolina to the late Hartley McWhite, Sr. and the late Isabella James McWhite. She departed this earthly life on February 3, 2025.
Azilee graduated from Wilson High School class of 1962, she later continued her education in New Jersey where she received her LPN. Azilee was employed at Faith Nursing Home and the South Carolina Department of Disability and Special Needs until her retirement. She was married to the late Leroy Brown, and to this union, they had a beautiful daughter. Sister Brown's most cherished accomplishment was when she dedicated her life to Jehovah God, symbolizing her dedication by water baptism on September 3, 2000.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was also preceded in death by five brothers and seven sisters.
Sister Azilee leaves to cherish her precious memories: a daughter Paulette Brown; two grandchildren Kiara and Kandice Williams; three great-grandchildren, KaOnni Burnson, Kaiden and Kyzer Williams; a special sister Mary Brown; sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Benjamin, Julia (Larry) Matthews, Lillian Wright, and Connie Brown; brothers-in-law, Sampson (Janice) Brown, David Brown, Thomas Deas, Jr. , and Wesley Johnson, Jr.; a host of special nieces, nephews, loving brothers and sisters of the Kingdom Hall, as well a host of friends and family.
