We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Buck Smith the family is receiving friends at 3167 Tall Oaks Road, Florence.

Mr. Buck Smith, Sr.  was born in Timmonsville, South Carolina on June 28, 1938 to the late Albert Smith and Eugenia Smith Smalls. He transitioned from this earthly life on Monday June 3, 2024 at his home.

Mr. Buck  was a loving father and friend. One who loved to tell jokes and laugh. He attended the public schools of Timmonsville. He retired from CSX after many years of service.

In addition to his parents, Buck Smith, Sr.  was preceded in death by two sons, Floyd T. Smith and Buck Smith, Jr. as well as one daughter, Mary Linda Smith.

Mr. Buck Smith, Sr.  leaves to cherish his fun and  loving memories:  one daughter Louvenia (Michael) Cameron; three sons, David Alexander of Spartanburg, South Carolina, Christopher Smith and Marvin Hughes of Florence, South Carolina; twenty grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
