Christopher McClellan was born March 9, 1968, to Helena H. McClellan and the late Herbert Kernell McClellan. He departed this earthly life on Tuesday, December 5, 2023

Christopher attended the public schools of Florence County and graduated from West Florence High School in 1987.  He was employed in Arkansas until his health declined. He attended St. Matthew Apostolic Church on Pawley Street in Florence, South Carolina under the leadership of Bishop Frank Saunders until he enlisted into the United States Army.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparent Harold (Allie Graham) Haynesworth, Sr. and paternal grandparent, Jay (Earline Sheppard) McClellan.

Christopher leaves to cherish his memories: his children,  one son, Keane Xavier McClellan; two daughters, Kristianlyn Taylor and Alexis Chicora McClellan all of Fort Mill, South Carolina; one grandson, Jehlani Peterkin-McClellan of Fort Mill, South Carolina; his mother, Helena H. McClellan of the home; one sister, Deborah D. McLellan of the home; two aunts, Lear Lee Murray of Bronx, New York and Bertha McLellan of Summerville, South Carolina; three uncles, LaVern (Ora Lee) Haynesworth, Elijah (Rebecca) Haynesworth, and Frank (Betty) Haynesworth all of Florence, South Carolina; two very close friends of the family,  Princeola Dickerson and Kiesha Holmes; A host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
