We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Ernest Harrell on Monday August 21, 2023.

Mr. Ernest Harrell, "Kip" As he was affectionately called, was born on November 1, 1952 to the late Olivia and James Harrell, Sr. He departed this life on August 21, 2023, at McLeod Hospice House.

In addition to his parents, Ernest was preceded in death by his wife, Margie E. Harrell and his brother, Sammy Lee Harrell.

Ernest leaves to cherish his precious memories: two daughters, Angela (Christopher) Myers and Ernesia J. Harrell, of Florence, South Carolina; two sons, Quincy (Quandra)  White of Lithonia, Georgia, and Nicholas Thomas, of Darlington, South Carolina; five brothers, Willie Wingate, James Harrell, Jr., Allen Harrell all of Florence, South Carolina; Theodore (Irene) Ellerby of Atlanta, Georgia and Johnny (Julia) Delaine of Charlotte, North Carolina; three sisters, Deloris Thomas, Diane Harrell, and Annie Lee (Timothy) Brooks, all of Florence, South Carolina; A long time "tight man", Mr. Willie Carter; six grandchildren, Justin, Quincy, Jr., Cuemel, Sha'Niyah, Makaila, and Zariyah, one on the way,: a special niece and nephew, Tamar Echols Douglas and Roscoe Harrell.
