Henrietta Kelly Harley was born on May 28, 1928, in Florence County, a daughter of the late Walter and Ella McKever Kelly. She entered eternal rest on March 10, 2025, surrounded by family. She attended the public schools of Florence County and graduated from Wilson High School. She was employed at Wentworth for many years. She was later employed at General Electric until her retirement in 1990. At a young age, she became a member of Salem United Methodist Church. She later became a member of The Church of Christ on Hwy 76.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son James Lee Kelly, and her nine siblings. On May 5, 1955 she was joined in Holy Matrimony to Pastor Lawrence Harley, Sr.

She leaves to cherish loving memories: her husband of 69 years, Pastor Lawrence Harley Sr; her children, Shirley K. Singletary, Luequeen Barbara Robinson, Lawrence Kent (Gail) Harley, Betty (Larry) Ellerbe, and Vondaree Michelle Harley Gregg; beloved daughter in law, Marilyn (Huck) Kelly-Harrison; two beloved sons in law, Johnny Robinson and James Mack; two sisters in law, Jessie Mae Harley and Barbara Harley; seventeen grandchildren; two of them reared in the home, Johnny (Michelle) Robinson II and Kimyada Gregg; forty-four great-grandchildren; forty-seven great-great grandchildren; a brother, Steven (Susan) Williamson; a special caregiver, Annette Mcknight; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

The family will receive friends at 1301 Sumter Street, Florence, SC, from 3 PM until 9 PM daily.
