Jackie Lee Lighty was born on May 1, 1953, a son of Bill and Elizabeth Lighty. He attended West Florence High School.

Survivors include: his wife, Marie Lighty; four children, Antran McDaniel, Oxxcy Brown, Jackie Lighty and Shafonya Lighty; siblings, Mitchell Lighty, Larry (Marie) Lighty and Ethel (Tyrone) Freeman; ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Jackie will be missed by the many family members and friends he gained throughout his journey of life.
