James "Cheetah "Lee Harrison was born to Jake and Ruth Harrison on June 26th, 1946. He left this earth but not our hearts, due an illness on April 11th, 2023.

"Cheetah" worked as a dedicated truck driver at L.H. Stokes and Sons Inc. for 59 years until his illness. He loved entraining with friends and his baseball teammates while listening to old school music, playing checkers, and eating catfish stew.

"Cheetah" was married to Marilyn "Huck" Harrison of Florence, SC for 47 years. To this union four children were born. He predeceased by his parents; two brothers Jake and Charles Harrison; two brothers in law Mickey Miller and Thaddeus "Butch" Barr; two best friends Roosevelt "Booster" Isaiah and Leslie Gregg; and son James "Earle" Harrison.

He is survived by: his wife, Marilyn "Huck" Harrison; three daughters, Joretta (Coletta) Kelly of Atlanta GA, Sakita (Lamont) Sims of Virginia Beach VA and Ja'Kita Harrison of Florence, SC; one son, Steve Banks of Darlington SC; two sisters, Dorothy Brown of Florence SC and Mary Ann (James) Ham of Orangeburg SC; one brother, Luther Earl ( Martha) Harrison of Florence SC; four grandchildren, Brandon (Joi) Gurley of Atlanta GA, Alajha Harrison of Florence SC, Daishua Gregg Harrison of Charlotte NC and King Sims of Virginia Beach, VA; five great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
