Elder Kenneth Lee (Kent) George Sr. was born in Florence, South Carolina June 21,1937 to Booker T. George Sr. (deceased) and Ophelia King (deceased). He transitioned on Sunday, December 19, 2021 in the home.

Elder George was married to Ruby L. Brown for over 55 years and this union produced two children, Kenneth L. George Jr (deceased) and Tracey K. George.

As a young man, Elder George entered the military and spent over 27 years in before retiring. A man of great wisdom and discipline, Elder George completed two Masters degrees in Education and Math while teaching math and serving as an Assistant Principal.

Elder George in his free time enjoyed different forms of Martial Arts obtaining his 3 ^rd degree Black Belt in Karate and he continued to strengthen his body after leaving the military by faithful going to the gym until the pandemic.

Elder George loved his family and will be remembered for his quick wit and his willingness to assist anyone in need.

Elder George leaves to cherish his memory: His loving and devoted wife Ruby L.George; one daughter Tracey K. George; two sisters, Linda Saunders, and Shirley Leach; one brother, Micheal George and one step-brother Fred Pope; two grandchildren, Kenneth E. James and Nitara R. James; a favorite aunt Marie Small; a favorite cousin, Rosa L. Wilder; two god-grandchildren, JJ Garland, and Jimyer Benjamin and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
