Leroy Lee , affectionately called Knee was born on May 25, 1947, in Kingstree, South Carolina to the late Lloyd and Rosa Lee.  He departed his life on November 14, 2021.

Leroy received his education from the public school system in Florence, South Carolina.  As an adult, he moved    to New Jersey where he worked in carpentry.  Leroy returned to Florence where he worked for Florence Concrete and later Pee Dee Pools.  After a number of years, he returned to carpentry with his brothers until he became disabled.

Leroy was preceded in death by his parents: Lloyd and Rosa Lee, his siblings Garner Lee, Cranston (Nancy) Lee, and Lonner (Lucille) Lee.

Leroy leaves to cherish precious memories: his daughter Dr. Theresa Wiggins of Columbia, South Carolina; granddaughter Davette Wiggins of Marion, South Carolina;  grandson David Wiggins III;  two  great-grandsons Marcus White and Josiah Wiggins; one great-granddaughter Ariayah White; his sister, Mattie({Preston) Titus; a nephew who was raised as his brother Annorie (Angela) Lee of Chesterfield, Virginia; his long time caregiver, Dana Johnson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
