Mrs. Carrie Lee Gurley Brailsford departed this earthly life on Sunday November 26, 2023.  She was born May 26, 1944, a daughter of the late Alberta Anderson and Albert Gurley. She was married to her late husband Bobby Brailsford. She was also preceded in death by two daughters, two grandsons, one great grandson and nine siblings.

She was a faithful member of the Prayer Tabernacle. She was employed at Faith Nursing Home for over thirty years.

Those who remain to cherish loving memories include: three daughters, Falieita McCall,  Beverly (Perry) Mcleod and Patricia Powers of New Haven, CT; four sisters, Alice Smalls, Dorthea (Henry)Kelly, Carol Gurley and Viola Hines; five brothers, James (Peggy)Thomas, Phillip Gurley, Willie Gurley, Chuckey (Barbara) Gurley and John Gurley; step sons, Bobby Brailsford ,Billy Brailsford and David Brailsford; four grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other
