Evangelist Hattie Mae Scott Coleman was born in Sardis, South Carolina on December 25, 1930, to the late Ed and Annie Scott.  She departed this earthly life on Sunday November 20, 2022.

Hattie Mae spent her youth in South Carolina and would later venture to Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Long Island, New York to pursue work opportunities. Hattie gave her life to Christ and moved back to Timmonsville, South Carolina in the late 1970's. There she was an active member of Steppingstone Holiness Church. One of her favorite things to do was travel with the church where she served as the State Mother of the church. As a believer she loved to spread the word of God while she was also able to spend a lot of time ministering and volunteering at the Manna House in Florence. Hattie was a fantastic cook. She loved game shows especially Jeopardy and The Price is Right , she also loved word puzzles and listening to gospel music.

Hattie is survived by: her daughter Marvis Jean Scott; granddaughter Dana Sanabria; great grandchildren Maceo and Grace Padgett; a sister Mary Emma Scott; a host of beloved nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
