Obituary

Ms. Patricia Charles Timmons, a native of Florence, SC, was born October 9, 1939, to the late Brunson Charles, Sr., and the late Florida Gurley Charles.

She was educated in Florence County public schools.

She was previously employed with Marlowe Manufacturing, later named Klear Knit and she retired from there in 1996.

Patricia was predeceased by her husband, a sister, Sarah C. Purvis, three brothers, Brunson Charles, Jr., Leroy Charles, and Levern Charles.

Patricia is survived by her children Nathaniel (Yulinda) Charles, Cathy Charles (Joe Ricketts), of Queens, New York, Flora Timmons, of the home, and Dwayne (Nechelle) Timmons, Locust Grove, Georgia, a grandson Timothy Charles (Valerie Abraham) raised in the home.  Sisters, Martha Charles, Francina Kelly, Carolyn Mitchell, Evelyn (Charles) Williams, Marie (Harry) Johnson.
