Ms. Seletta McLamore Singleton was born in Florence County on January 11, 1974 to Seleither Jones McLamore and Roosevelt McLamore. She received her formal education in the Florence County Schools.

Seletta accepted Christ into her heart at an early age and continued in her lifelong journey of faith.

Seletta was blessed to find love with her domestic partner, Mr. Terry Harkless of Darlington County. He and his mother, Ms. Gloria Harkless, was a blessing to Seletta, and took care of her to the end.

Seletta leaves to cherish her memories, her beloved son, Deon Swinton of Simpsonville, SC, her sister Ruby McLamore of Florence, SC and her brother, Franklin Perry (Connie) McLamore of Savannah, Ga. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends who regret her passing.

In addition to her parents, Seletta was proceeded in death by her daughter, QuaShema McLamore, her brothers Matthew McLamore, Rufus McLamore, and David William McLamore, as well as her sisters Rosemary McLamore Robinson and Rhoda Mae McLamore.
