We regret to announce the passing of Samuel King, who departed on Saturday, June 7, 2025. He was Born on 8-17-1966.

The family appreciates all the prayers and love bestowed upon them during their time of bereavement. Mr. Samuel Timmy King, son of Mrs. Lillie Bell Echols King, was born on August 17, 1966, in Florence, SC. He slipped away from this world of sorrow on June 7, 2025. Samuel received his formal education in Florence District One Schools. Samuel possessed many skills and worked a variety of jobs throughout his life.

Samuel was preceded in death by his mother, Lillie Bell Echols King; his grandparents, Mr. Philmore and Mrs. Amelia Echols; two sisters, Betty A. King and Yvonne Davis; and five brothers, Major King, Jr., David King, Robert King, Ernest King, Jr., and David Law.

Samuel leaves to cherish fond memories two sons Sadonte' McNeil Sr. and Saequan Capehart; three grandchildren Tahlia Barnes, Sadonte' McNeil Jr., and Sa'Naa McNeil; brothers James (Lottie) King, Phillip (Ericka) King, Jerry King, and Larry (Tiffany) King; sister Reverend Michelle Law Gordon; aunts Jessie M. Harley, Laura Thompson, Hester Echols, Romell Fleming, Emma (Sammie, Sr.) Kelly, Amelia (Curtis) Cato, Maggie Marks, and Gracie Echols; uncle Monroe (Margaret) Echols; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
