Mr. Willie Jackson Gregg was born August 18, 1970 to the late James Gregg and Dorothy Ann King Gregg. He departed this earthly life on Wednesday November, 17, 2021.

Willie was a graduate of Wilson High School Class of 1989.  After graduating he went to trade school for construction and welding.  He was last employed with James Construction where he worked joyfully for over four years.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by: his grandparents, Nathan Abrams, Minnie Abrams, Carrie Bell Harkless   and Nelson Harkless; aunts Doretha Grant, Delores Grant, and  Charlene Abrams; and one uncle Harry Abrams.

Willie leaves to cherish his memories: his daughter Shaqonda Latisha Gregg (Joshua) Sparks; one sister, Marie (Moses) Backus; two grandchildren, Joshua Ayden Sparks and Jayden Alexander Sparks;  his nieces, Chantelle Gregg, La'Shonda Gregg, Tanekia Scipio, Adrienne Gregg, Amani Gregg, and Saniya Scipio; nephews  Henry (Byrannet) Gregg, Zion Gregg and Ka'naz Burgess; three aunts, Maggie Miller, Edith

(Ralph) Abrams Stephens and Virginia Abrams; three uncles, Roy (Cathy) Abrams, Danny Abrams and Robert Abrams; a very special cousin who was  like a mother to him Beatrice Taylor; a host of cousins, other relatives and special friends.
